The Seamstresses Father

By Carl Roycroft

The seamstress’s father came to Lou’s village every year to make clothes for all the people in the community. He could chose were he stayed so he wanted to stay were his possible future son in law lived. In the time he spent with the two boys he heard so many different stories from around the globe from Ma the other boy in the cabin. The stories that the tailor heard would end up being shown in his work so the women had ankers as buttons on their blouses and dresses it was a fashion statement around the village for a couple of years.
The tailor in his time in the village grew very fond of the two young men and would help them in a time of need if they needed it. One night when Ma was telling the tailor a story one about a count and the headman heard him and thought he was talking down or bad about a count and the head man was going to send him to the security office. But they all had to fix the headman’s tooth and he wouldn’t have to go the security office. The use the tailors sewing machine to hallow out the headman’s tooth so Lou can put the aluminum in it.
If not have been for the tailor their that night Ma would have been beaten in the office. Every time the tailor came stayed their now he was treated like royalty in the village he was the riches person in the community as he stepped on the property because the people their did not make much money. As he goes more and more he come to the village the more and more the boys get close to him and his daughter aka the little seamstress now they had a new friend on their journey.
